Special Education Process

The process of referring to special education has four main steps:

1. Pre-refferral: general educators try interventions.
2. Referral: identification of disability through assessments and evaluations in special education and psychology.
3. The Individual Education Team plans the student program.
4. Those involved implement the Individual Education Plan.
